I'm Eric, I live near Barcelona (Spain), and I'm currently studying engineering in my City. I'm also working as a programming teacher for kids.
I'm into the music world too: I play the saxophone in a local band, but I play other instruments too, like the piano, the guitar, or the drums. Sometimes, in my free time or for some of my projects, I write or arrange some song tracks.
I have been into coding since I was 12. After doing some small projects on Scratch or Lego Mindstorms, I started to learn Python (first with Python 2, but after some time, I switched to Python 3). I have done countless mini-projects, each of them involving different things: Data Management, Algorithms, GUI, ...
After discovering the strong and the weak points of Python, I thought it would be a good idea to try a new language, and that's how I learnt C++. This has also been useful for some projects, where I needed to use an Arduino.
And the rest of the languages were pretty much the same: in general, once you dominate a programming language, you only have to remember the different syntax and a few concepts of the new language to start programming.
I think the ability to code will become more and more necessary in the everyday world. It's the power of customising all you want.
